15 Ways to Hygge

January 26, 2017

how-to-hyggeThere’s really nothing I love more than being cozy. It’s a word I use frequently in everyday life to describe the way certain things feel to me: slow walks with a close friend, the freedom of a wireless bra, and the feeling of luxuriating in bed on the weekend. Merry Christmas 2016!

December 25, 2016

From my little family to yours… Merry Christmas! As I type this, I’m currently cozied up at home in Maine under a thick knit blanket, tea steaming and Christmas music warbling. Thanks for sticking with me and here’s to a fabulous 2017!

It’s become part of the social routine, with “coffee dates” acting as a placeholder for simply hanging out. I mean, there’s a reason that those latte flatlays on Instagram get so many likes. Wondering why I quit drinking coffee?

After making the big move across the country to San Francisco almost three years ago, I’m frequently asked what I like most about living in here. San Francisco is a fabulous city, with tons of amazing things to do and see. The culture here is vibrant and the energy effervescent. However, whenever people ask about my favorite aspect about SF, my first answer is always a bit surprising. Can you guess?
