Hi! I wanted to share with you the second half of my photos from my trip to Maine. The trip wasn’t long enough, but thankfully we crammed in as many fun things as we could in 3 days. It was really weird going back to the place where I lived and worked for my whole life for a vacation. It was also weird going back to a place I’d normally vacation to go back to work. When you move to a new place, suddenly everything gets flipped upside down! It was so great to see my family and spend time with my parents and brother. Below are some photos from my trip if you’d like to see!
We stopped in Portland to grab a bite at my old stomping ground, Becky’s Diner! That fried Maine shrimp is so darn tasty.
My mom made homemade crepes with wild Maine blueberries and strawberries for breakfast. With the time change, I was barely awake to appreciate them – ha!
A gorgeous (but windy) day spent kayaking on the lake! The water was choppy but it was still a good time.
RED HOT DOGS! My ultimate guilty pleasure. The fact that you can’t get them anywhere but Maine makes me crave them even more.
Still had time to sneak a nap in the hammock that afternoon. ;)
A black pepper my mom grew in her garden. And surprise! It was green on the inside!
Cruising to Acadia in the mini coop!
Our yearly tradition of mini golf at Pirate’s Cove in Bar Harbor.
Couldn’t go without closing out the afternoon with popovers and lobster rolls at Jordan Pond house.
XO, J
P.S. A week in Maine (part I)!
