Winter Lookbook: Three Cold-Weather Outfits

December 29, 2015

With the winter weather, it can be hard to look cute while staying warm. I’ve been back home in Maine for the past week and a half and I’ve worn nothing but cozy sweaters, thick socks, and scarves to keep warm. Not mad about it.

One thing I miss about living in Maine is bundling up for the cold weather. I like coming back home for the holidays because I can just get a taste of it before heading back to sunnier California skies and clearer roads. I had so much fun putting together this winter lookbook video, and I hope it sparks something in anyone looking for some cold-weather outfit inspiration!

Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2015

output_NEwUOmMerry Christmas from Maine! I don’t know how the holiday crept up on us so fast, but it’s happening! We’re spending the holiday back home with our families. I’m finishing the last of the wrapping and listening to Christmas music on repeat. There are about 5 million Christmas-y things I want to do before it’s over, so I better get a move on and try to enjoy these last few days of December here in Maine!

We hope your Christmas is merry + bright, and thank you for reading along with me this year!

XO, J

Holiday Gift Guide 2015

December 14, 2015

Whenever the holidays roll around, I always convince myself that I have more time to shop than I actually do. Since I’ll be hopping on a plane to Maine in 4 days and counting, I need to get all my last-minute shopping in this week (cue the panic!). If you’re a procrastinator like me, here’s a little holiday gift guide of my favorite gifts to give (… or receive. Hint hint.) this year!

The Wink’s Everyday Makeup Tutorial

December 2, 2015

everday-makeupLittle known fact about me: I am a #commuterbeauty. I wrote about it in this post a while back, and it’s still true. With a commute as long as mine, who has time for makeup? Since I can usually be seen running out the door bare-faced to catch my train, I need a makeup routine that is easy to apply on-the-go, foolproof, and that will last me from the office to drinks in the city after work. I’ve managed to streamline my look and I take you through the steps in my Everyday Makeup Tutorial below! Throw in some bold brows, neutral eyes, and some fresh-looking skin, and you’ve got an everyday makeup look that won’t let you down.
